Eligibility FEHSF offers grants to Law Enforcement officials
and their families for emergency funding and/or financial assistance
if the agent or official has been injured or killed in the line of
duty. Special extenuating circumstances, such as a serious medical
condition or natural disaster, may also be considered as a basis
for awards.
Every application is considered on an individual
basis. While we maintain established parameters, the very nature
of our organization and its mission allows for exceptional cases.
Grants
are awarded to families or individuals, based on need. Please read

We do not notify applicants that their application
has arrived, so you may opt to send your application return receipt
requested. Online applications are not accepted at this time.

Facts Concerning FEHSF Grants
There are no deadlines
for applying for an FEHSF grant.
The application form suggests parameters
for the size of your grant, but the actual amount is at the
sole discretion of the Executive Board's Grants Committee.
There is no formal mechanism for checking on the status of
your grant application, however, our streamlined process allows
for quick decision-making.
Grants are decided upon by committee and must be ratified by
the Executive Board.
If your grant application is accepted,
you will be notified by phone or mail.
