ATF: “This tragedy has devastated the family and tears at the heartstrings of his fellow agents and employees. Your Foundation’s unhesitating effort to help out a member of our ATF family is what makes you and your fellow Board members special. While I always thought that I would be able to seek out the FEHSF’s for other ATF Divisions, I never thought I would have to do so for my own. When tragedy strikes so close to home, you reflect back on your life and your priorities and learn how precious life is but now have a greater appreciation for how short it can be. Please pass along my sincere thank you to all the members of the Foundation, for without your help the journey over the past few months would certainly have been much more difficult. Thank you again and God Bless you and the FEHSF.”

FBI: “Thank you for your generous contribution and kind message of sympathy. Your thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated by all of us in the FBI. Your condolences will be shared with the family, and I know I speak for them as well in thanking you and the members of the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation for your bounteousness and comforting words.”

DEA: “The Drug Enforcement Administration is very grateful for the support of the Federal Homeland Security Foundation in our time of need. We are proud to be associated with you and all the members of the Foundation.”

ATF: “Prior to receiving this check I was unaware of your organization and thoughtful giving. I appreciate it more than I can say. I am making slow, but steady progress in strength and independence. My spirits remain high, in no small part to your thoughtful gift. God Bless your organization!”

ICE: “Law enforcement and its supporters must face the reality that an operation that seemed routine and appears to have been executed by the book can without warning have such an unexpected and sad outcome. This feeling of loss is offset (but of course never totally) by the bravery of the officers involved and the importance of their mission. Thank you for the tremendous outpouring of support.”

DEA: “The mission of the ‘Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation’ reflects sincere support of the brave men and women who seek to protect and preserve the ideals and principals of America. The foundation is at the forefront of an emerging trend between the public and private sector to forge stronger relationships by exchanging information to improve safety as well as provide financial support when emergencies arise.”

USSS: “I wanted to personally thank you for the generous grant that the Executive Committee approved for me to purchase a new van. It is difficult to put into words how grateful we are for the overwhelming support we have received. The new van is being enjoyed by the entire family, and we are truly grateful. Thank you once again for your generosity.”

FBI: “This letter gratefully acknowledges the receipt of the grants from the FEHSF for the two FBI employees who lost their homes and lifelong possessions in the recent San Diego county fires. The grants from your foundation will help them recover from this tragedy.” Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation

ATF: “We in the law enforcement family pride ourselves on joining together to help each other in times of adversity, and your organization’s gift demonstrates again that we take care of our own. Thank you for your assistance and your support of law enforcement and homeland security efforts nationwide.”

ATF: “Words cannot express my sincere appreciation to you and the FEHSF. Through your concern for others and your unhesitating actions, you help out in ways that are often times unattainable. These are great attributes of caring individuals and fine Americans with whom I am proud to be affiliated.”

ATF: “Your sponsorship provided us the opportunity for the crucial exchange of information and a platform for professional interactions between ATF and its partners across the law enforcement spectrum. The men and women of our Bureau are grateful for your ongoing support for ATF in our missions to prevent terrorism, reduce violent crime, and protect the public. Thank you once more for the work you do in support of law enforcement everywhere.”

ICE:
“Our agent is dealing with the extra financial burden that comes with a catastrophic illness. Last week we passed your foundation’s check onto the family. It goes without saying that they have expressed their heartfelt thanks for organizations such as Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation. I would like to personally thank your foundation for recognizing the sacrifices made by the Special Agents of ICE and assisting them in their time of need.”

DEA: “Thank you very much for the emergency grant to assist one of our Agent’s loss of his home to the San Diego fire. Your generosity and expeditious response during this time of loss is commendable. We do not know what we would do without the humanitarian support as you have shown during times of misfortune. Your generosity and support has enabled our Special Agent to continue to serve with his mind at ease knowing that his family is stable and can begin the process of rebuilding. Thank you again for your sincere kindness and generous support.” Exploring, A Program for Career Education: “As Executive Director for the Greater New York Councils, Exploring Program, I want to sincerely thank you for your contribution to the Law Enforcement Leadership Award Reception. I would like to add my gratitude to the 117,000 Scouts and Explorers whose lives you have touched in a positive way.”

FAM: “Your thoughtfulness and tremendous generosity are greatly appreciated and never overlooked. Thanks for all that you have done.”

ICE: “We salute the FEHSF and are grateful for the support that you have provided to us.”

DEA: “We want to extend our sincere thanks to everyone for your continued support this past year. As we are learning, healing from a spinal cord injury takes time.”
